Phu My Fertilizer Plant has a capacity of 800,000 tons of urea/year, 540,000 tons of ammonia/year, using technology from Haldor Topsoe (Denmark) to produce ammonia gas and urea fertilizer production technology from Snamprogetti (Italy). These are the leading technologies in the world with a closed chain, the main input materials are natural gas, air and the output are ammonia and urea. The closed technology cycle along with self-generating electricity and steam helps the factory be completely proactive in production even when the national power grid has problems or there is not enough electricity supply.
The factory includes 4 main workshops: ammonia factory, urea factory, auxiliary factory, product factory and other functional rooms/workshops.
The factory management, operation and maintenance team has proactively undertaken and operated all work items, the factory has always operated stably, reaching 100% of design capacity and standard operating hours. . With more than 800 skilled officers, engineers, workers, and technicians, the recent performance results of Phu My Fertilizer Plant have largely contributed to the overall achievements of the Corporation.
