On January 17, 2024, Vina Aspire signed a contract to provide BestFit software to the Petroleum Rig Manufacturing Company (PV Shipyard) to serve oil and gas industry projects, renewable energy, and external offshore wind power. BestFit software helps process data from Electronic Total Station dimensioning machine, Set up spatial coordinate grid & Transfer measurement data to Auto CAD.
PV Shipyard is a provider of new construction and repair services for oil and gas rigs and services in the industry and renewable energy industry in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. PV Shipyard’s main fields of activity: (EPC) design, procurement, manufacturing, launching, transportation, installation of jack-ups, liftboats, modules, topsides, FPSOs and steel structures as well as lifting services supply, repair and maintenance of marine structures of floating equipment (ships, tugboats), superstructure modules of floating warehouses (FSO, FPSO).

After more than 17 years of operation and development, PV Shipyard has completed investment in phase 1 – Oil and Gas Rig manufacturing base on an area of about 400,000 m2, in Sao Mai Ben Dinh area – Vung Tau City. With a relatively synchronous and modern scale including: 156m long wharf, -12m water depth in front of the wharf, capable of receiving ships over 15,000 DWT, 169m long slipway system, warehouse and yard system, factory; Invest in equipping 01 1,250 ton crane, 02 forklifts, 110T crane, other types of cranes, gantry cranes and forklifts, specialized equipment: CNC cutting machines, generators, air compressors, welding machines , sand blasting system… to serve the construction, repair and conversion of oil and gas rigs, floating vehicles, oil and gas projects and industrial projects onshore and offshore, with the capacity can build and repair 02 to 03 drilling rigs at the same time, equivalent to about 40,000-50,000 tons of structure/year.
In recent years, PV Shipyard has successfully implemented EPC projects such as: Tam Dao 03 automatic drilling rig, Tam Dao 05 automatic drilling rig, Nghi Son tugboat project; seafood barges; Daman Jacket Project; Repair & upgrade drilling rigs such as West Telesto jack-up, liftboat H1012, Parameswara jack-up, Java Star 2 jack-up, Trident 16 jack-up, PVD III jack-up, Mumanskya, Cuu Long, Naga jack-up III & VI, Hakuryu-5 semi.
PV Shipyard has also implemented a number of onshore projects such as: installing a cool water supply and drainage system for the Long Phu thermal power plant, and a coal conveyor system for Thai Binh thermal power plant.
