Job Purpose or Summary
We are looking for a professional with experience in both information technology and business administration. The successful applicant will serve as the liaison between the executives and IT department, leveraging the data the IT team extrapolates while also overseeing the selection and implementation of software programs. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and highly innovative. He or she will also be responsible for translating business needs to digital solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects and initiatives in mind.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high performance, robust and scalable backend system
- Self-testing code and fix bugs
- Investigate, discover inefficient designs in system and find effective alternative solutions
- Integrate with third party APIs
- Write technical document and API document
- 24/7 on call for emergency response, disaster recovery
Requirements
– Education
Bachelor’s Degree in following (as preferable)
- Software Development
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Information System
Or Bachelor’s Degree in related fields
– Professional major: Web Back-end
– 2nd language ability: Good
– Computer usage ability: Advance
– Related experiences: At least 3 years of experience using PHP, NodeJS
– Essential Capabilities:
- Experience working with Linux system
- Experience working with framework like Laravel / Lumen / Symfony
- Experience in use of source code management system like GIT / SVN
- Experience working with cloud service like Amazon / Google
- Knowledge of NoSQL database management system like Redis / MongoDB
– Additional Notes
- Be able to work under pressure
- A positive attitude, be proactive and a team player
- Good problem solving skills, willingness to take ownership and risks, and enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges
- Desire to stay updated on current and new technologies
